This dilution has to do with the church’s – particularly the conservative religious right crowd’s – dependency and focus on politics as the major means of changing culture in this country. This book was written to conservatives by a former conservative. This book is nowhere near the usual “for” or “against” arguments concerning political involvement by Christians. This book is about identity and reasserting the fact that all followers of Christ are part of a different Kingdom than is usual to mankind. This reassertion will totally change our perspectives on church/state relations and our attitudes toward the non-believing masses around us.

The Diluted Church is about more than exposing the fallacy of culture change through political means. This book is about calling believers to realize their true heritage and to begin living out of it by exposing the errors of the religious conservative movement. This book is a primer for followers of Christ to begin being the alternative to the political and cultural status quo in America.
