Kingdom Citizenship

Kingdom Citizenship, what does such a thing mean? In 35 years of attending church I never once heard a sermon on the Kingdom of God. This is amazing since Jesus talked about this subject more than hell, money or even salvation.

In the gospels, the Kingdom of God [or kingdom of heaven] is mention 90 times. How is it, something so primary to the teachings of Christ barely is mentioned in today’s buildings said to be dedicated to His service?

It is the conclusion of much study that the kingdom of God is a now-reality as well as an eventuality. What does this mean? Jesus came preaching the gospel of the kingdom. Yet at other points the kingdom is referred to in the future sense. Both are true yet it is unclear to most people who say they believe the scriptures just what that means.

A kingdom demands loyalty and dedication. And most kingdoms consist of borders, language and culture; totally sensory realities. The reality of the kingdom of God is purely spiritual within the physical realm. Therefore, all aspects of the kingdom only have a physical representation in the follower of Christ. We are the kingdom of God by way of Christ through us. Citizenship is responsibility to Kingdom Living.

Since there is a famine of truth about the kingdom of God, this site is dedicated to articulating it, encouraging it and unlocking people from worldliness of the Sunday-going-to-meeting crowd. At Kingdom Citizenship we have a conglomeration of articles, book, movie and music reviews; links, teachings, and various resources that will help unleash the kingdom of God in you. You will understand what Christ meant when He preached, “repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

I challenge you to educate yourself to grapple with truth and to share your life with the community of people who are doing the same here at Kingdom Citizenship.
